NOT the famous drumbattle versus Animal (that's already a couple of times on youtube), but this is the great Buddy Rich who 'plays the theatre'...and SINGS! Have fun!
Marshall Crenshaw performed this Buddy Holly original live at the La Bamba Rock 'n' Roll Revue. He played the part of Buddy in the 1987 film La Bamba which also featured Lou Diamond Phillips as Ritchie Valens and Brian Setzer as Eddie Cochran.
Gary Busey as Buddy Holly, performing Rock Around With Ollie Vee and That'll Be The Day.
Busey began his show-business career as a drummer in "The Rubber Band". He appears on several Leon Russell recordings, credited as playing drums under the name "Teddy Jack Eddy".
In 1978, he starred as Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story. The movie won Busey an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
This one's especially for all you Dutch Hazes lovers!
Here's André at his best. First a short blues jam and some jokin' around, and in the end all hell breaks loose!
This is how i like to remember him.
The blues with a whole lot of soul...
Beautiful song here that could easily be an original Stax or Kent release from 60-something...howev er it's a Siegal original.
Respect.

Great performance here by Howard Huntsberry who's voice really sounds like Jackie Wilson. Howard is an R&B singer and actor from Pacoima, California. He was the lead singer of the group Klique from 1981 to 1985, and then had a solo career that produced two minor hits on the Billboard R&B chart. He starred as Jackie Wilson in the movie La Bamba.
The incredible Ian Siegal and his fabulous band playing live at the Amsterdam Paradiso. Some Bo Diddley tunes here like 'Ride On Josephine, Pretty Thing and Who Do You Love'.
