An AMV that I made way back in 2002. The video quality isn't great due to the fact that I couldn't get it right from the DVDs, but had to transfer it to VHS and then I could capture it. This was my learning experience with Adobe Premiere.
Gundam Wing is owned by Bandai and I'm not sure who owns 3 Doors Down, but it isn't me - this was purely an editing exercise for me.
A couple of my friends snagged this video for me. It cuts off K-san's introduction of Sora a little, but the dialogue between Sora and Riku is intact.
Okay, I'll admit it...I was Riku.
The final project for my ENG/EFP and Digital Editing classes. All I lay claim to credit for is editing the program together, editing the Providence feature, and acting as producer (certainly with the headaches given the lack of cooperation from the talent) for the program.
With the footage I had, how could I resist putting a spin on it. That and it was a final project. The footage was based off of The Blair Witch Project...I had never seen that movie prior to the filming, but I had the basic idea. I had some trouble with lengthening the music and with some of the text, but otherwise, it turned out a lot better than I had hoped after seeing the footage.
"Kage" (in the particular kanji I'm using) is a Japanese term for shadow. I tried to combine that idea with the creation of a quick video that would be appropriate for a studio.
The 3D rendered kanji shows up well in the beginning as the camera is being pulled back from it. The shadowed effect of the kanji over the drummed images/video kept the theme and feel of the project.
The models in this scene were already created - it was my task to animate it. I used a path to move the ships and look-at constraints for both cameras. For the explosion I used a particle system.
