First of three parts. Oliver Reed makes his debut appearance on "The Tonight Show" in 1975 and gets into a memorable exchange with preceding guest Shelley Winters. Great to watch how this plays out and how Johnny reacts when things start to skid.

I've no idea whether this sign-off has already been posted in the past, but here's the February 26 1982 closedown of Los Angeles station KABC 7, including the beloved "High Flight" and Moog-version of the Star Spangled Banner
the WCBS sign-off and subsequent sign-on were posted in the last several days; this is the same message albeit with the downtown between the station leaving the air and resuming its broadcast day included unedited so that fans of the clips can actually see how briefly WCBS was off the air
a bumper for the "Late Late Show", a PSA, the "Give Us Your Day" message, and the sign-off for New York's WCBS TV Channel 2 as it ends a broadcast day in 1977
Alas, it is incomplete but I found this great clip of Kansas performing their hit "Carry On Wayward Son" at the tail end of a Beta tape. Not exactly sure of the date (it is either 1977 or 1978) as this is the sum total of what there is of the clip, but perhaps some Kansas fans out there will recognize the particular concert performance.
