This is a self contained MAX/MSP algorithmic patch I made for my uni project. It generates music by itself based on 16step sequences, 90% of the track is generated randomly, but within boundaries that i've created. One click and it works, and it will never make the same track twice...supposedly. Takes a minute to get going properly.

An Atari Pokey sound chip is controlled directly via bus and data lines from a microcontroller using three nested 'FOR' statements.
The results are much more complex (and musically interesting) than the code would lead one to believe - a minimalist / maximalist approach.
