Yup, it's a long route alright. More than 7 hours trip compared to a 2 hour direct flight from Manila.
It's on business class anyway; I didn't mind.

The Civil Aviation Ministry issues an alert for possible strikes at Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai airports on the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition.
Tourists are scrambling to find a way out of Thailand by any means possible as both airports in Bangkok have been blockaded by anti-government protestors. Some make it out by road, others through regional or military airports.
