ACLU NC - On June 30, 2008 the California Commission on the Fair Administration of Justice released the first ever comprehensive report on CA's death penalty. The panel unanimously agrees that California's death penalty is broken and would cost millions to fix. It is up to the voters to decide how much we are willing to spend on the broken system, when we have an alternative that works.
