Oct 22 - Investor sentiment soured further on Wednesday as weak corporate results reinforced growing recession fears.The Dow fell 514 points, or 5.7 percent, to 8.519. The S&P 500 lost 58 points, or 6.1 percent, to 896. The Nasdaq shed 80 points, 4.7 percent, to 1,615.
Crude oil prices dropped $5.43 to $66.75 a barrel.
