During World War II a young Sicilian boy falls in love with the most beautiful and most tragical woman in town. Director Tornatore creates magic on the screen through combining the gorgeous Monica Bellucci (Malena) with Ennio Morricone's exceptional and very moving score for this film.

Final scene of Jonathan Glazer's impressive movie 'Birth' (2004). We see Anna (played brilliantly by Nicole Kidman), confused and desparate on the beach, on the very day she remarries. Her fresh new husband, Joseph (played by Danny Huston), tries to comfort her.
The great score of the film is by composer Alexandre Desplat.
