Jack White of The White Stripes is interviewed during Big Day Out and televised over Big Day In weekend. Jack mentions some of the bands he enjoyed seeing during the tour including The Mars Volta, The Greenhorns, and Sleater Kinney. It was an overall uncomfortable interview.

The Mars Volta open their Fall 2003 tour with "Roulette Dares (The Haunt Of)" at Emo's in Austin, Texas. The Mars Volta have toured with Red Hot Chili Peppers, A Perfect Circle, System of a Down, and have performed at festivals such as Coachella, Lowlands, CMJ, Bonnaroo, Big Day Out, Summer Sonic, and Vegoose.
